Smartphones of different brands are gradually getting updated to the latest OS version from GoogleABOUT android 13.

ABOUT ASUS ROG Phone 6 And ASUS ROG 6 Pro phone launched in July last year, start receiving the update to Android 13. ASUS ROG line receives the new version after other brand mobile phones such as Zenfon 9, Zenfon 8 This Zenfone 8 Flip. Asus unveiled the update schedule for its smartphone portfolio in November 2022: the Zenfone 9 was the first to get Android 13 in December, its predecessors got access to the new version of Android in mid-January, and February is the month of the ROG lineup.

The new Android 13 update is numbered 33.0610.2810.72 for ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. This may not happen immediately, and it may take several days to gain access to all available devices. If you have a ROG series phone and are impatient, you can manually check for new software by going to Settings > System > System Updates.

Below are some thoughts on the new update published by Asus:

• Please back up your data before upgrading to Android 13. If you want to downgrade your device software to Android 12 using the official software package, all data will be deleted from your device’s internal memory;
• The system has been updated to Android 13;
• New ROG UI design introduced;
• Updated mobile manager, contacts, phone, emergency call, file manager, calculator, clock, gallery, weather, voice recorder, settings, data transfer, local backup, Armory Crate and Game Genie;
• Quick settings panel, notification panel and volume panel are customized for Android 13 design;
• Added notification permission feature. You can adjust the permission of each app in the Apps & Notifications settings;
• Added system clipboard “Autodelete” and editor functions;
• Added QR code scanner option for lock screen shortcut feature and locked device management feature in security and lock screen settings;
• Under the Digital Wellbeing setting, the system color scheme can be configured to automatically switch between sleep time options;
• Added setting for application languages;
• Adjusted vibration and haptic settings, display and font size settings, and the width/length of the white navigation bar when swiping navigation is selected.
• Changed the setting of blocked numbers in the phone behavior for promotions. You will not receive calls or messages from blocked numbers;
• Removed call duration setting;
• Added “Themed Icons” option in “Wallpaper & Style” settings. Supports more color combinations;
• Added quick link exchange feature to ASUS Launcher;
• The design of the dial pad and contact details page in the Phone app has been redesigned to display information more clearly.
• Some third party apps are not yet compatible with Android 13;
• Added customization for Asus personalization options. Allows you to apply a set of frequently used settings with one click;
• Removed the “Calm” and “Stylish” options in the power button menu style settings;
• Add a display item control option so that the user can control the number of buttons on the menu.
