Without a doubt, MIUI 14 looks like a boon for Xiaomi phones that have been on the market for a long time. This is something we couldn’t enjoy in previous versions of this customization layer, but luckily, Equipment that is not expected to be updated will be updated thanks to the low weight of this system.
One of these big beneficiaries is the POCO F2 Pro, a phone that was released in 2020 and as we were able to find out thanks to Xiaomiui. It will be officially updated to MIUI 14 at the beginning of next March which is undoubtedly grim news.
MIUI 14 yes, but it’s not all good news
In this case, the information obtained by Xiaomiui comes directly from the official MIUI servers, so the success rate is quite high. It has been possible to remove it on this platform. The version available for POCO F2 Pro is V14.0.1.0. SJKCNXM, of course a Chinese version that will arrive in the Global variant later.
Of course, all is not good news as this update is unfortunately based on Android 12 and not the latest version of Android 13. This will mean an app-level issue of all the news Xiaomi includes in this update, especially when it comes to user securityhowever, the performance of the equipment will still be positively affected.
As stated by Xiaomiui, this update will be available in China early next March 2023 and after a few months it will reach the Global and European markets with their respective ROMs. Therefore, all that remains is to wait to enjoy an update that many users have been waiting for and luckily will be able to enjoy soon.
