The United States on Thursday unveiled a plan to protect the cultural heritage of Ukraine, which is under constant threats and attacks from Russian forces.

The initiative was designed to support Ukraine’s efforts to protect and redress Ukrainian cultural heritage sites and collections, and to expand and strengthen public-private partnerships with civil society in Ukraine.

“This week marks a year since Russia’s brutal full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
