Information about the amazing development of specialists from Esperanto Technologies appeared on the Internet. They created a new processor containing 1,000 RISC-V cores.
The model, called ET-SoC1, should reportedly exhibit “excellent performance and energy efficiency in the field of artificial intelligence.” At the same time, the developers themselves call their creation an “accelerator of AI results.”
The processor received 1,088 energy-efficient 64 processor cores, as well as 4 high-performance RISC-V cores, 160 million bytes of internal SRAM memory, and interfaces for connecting DRAM modules to flash memory.
It is known that the maximum efficiency of ET-SoC1 is reached in recommendation systems based on machine learning. These are used by IT giants such as Amazon, for example.
