Capcom released the third trailer for one of the most anticipated games of the year, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and with this new video, it allowed us to see more important scenes and confirm some key details. One of the most relevant is that Luis will have a bigger rolethough we still don’t know if he ends up losing his life just like he did in the GameCube original.

The video also shows how scary the parasites will beit re-emphasizes how careful the environment will be outside and inside, it allows us to see Osmund Saddler’s face in detail, collects the moments when Ashley is losing her mind due to the infection, we can see Krauser as well and even a nod to Cervantes’ Quixote.

The truth is that the trailer looks very good and confirms, like the previous ones, that Capcom knew keep the essence of the classics the original Game Cube without having to give up the introduction of certain changes and improvements which go beyond the important graphic facelift. And speaking of graphics, there’s no doubt that the RE Engine, the engine used in Resident Evil 4 Remake, looks great in this title.

What we see in the final part of the video catches my attention, right before the Resident Evil 4 Remake section ends and the game is confirmed. game mode “Mercenaries”, which will arrive later as completely free DLC. If you look closely, you’ll see that Capcom shows off one of the parts of the lab for a few seconds, a map that is exactly where we first see one of the toughest and most feared enemies in the game, the regenerator.

I think that Capcom wanted to build anticipation and that the presentation of the regenerator was saved for the fourth trailer, which according to the data could be the launch, since Resident Evil 4 Remake will hit the market on March 24 this year. The game will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series SX and PC. There won’t be a version for Xbox One and Xbox One X, a real shame because users of both consoles will be without one of the most important triple A’s of the year.

The end of the video is also confirmed free demo. Capcom has used demos of this type in previous games, so this shouldn’t be a surprise, although these types of demos tend to be very limited. Resident Evil Village was only 60 minutes long to give you a recent example.
