The Russian army uses Strizh-3 suppression systems against Ukrainian drones. This was reported by a Ukrainian officer nicknamed “Sergei Flash”. It also released images of the Russian Strizh-3 complexes discovered on the front line.

The Strizh-3 mobile UAV defense system was developed by New Technologies Telecommunications (NTT).

The equipment is designed to detect unmanned aerial vehicles, transmit an alarm signal to the control and signal panel, block control channels and navigate unmanned aerial vehicles. The Strizh-3 system is installed on a rigid platform using a portable tripod.

It is stated that the complex creates a barrier against the penetration of unmanned aerial vehicles within a radius of up to 1.5 km. Several such complexes can be combined to expand the countermeasure zone. The complex is equipped with six sectors, each of which has all the necessary radio equipment.
