Chinese scientists have proposed creating a massive array of satellites in low Earth orbit to provide worldwide Internet access. The new project is expected to rival the Starlink satellite group. Codenamed GW, the project involves launching 12,992 satellites into low orbit. This is the state-owned China Satellite Network Group Co. will be carried out by New satellites must occupy low orbits.
The terms are yet to be named, but SpaceX plans to launch more than 12,000 vehicles into low Earth orbit by 2027. It is alleged that Chinese satellites should be placed in orbits that the Starlink system has not yet managed to occupy.
It is also said that Chinese satellites could potentially suppress their Starlink counterparts, but what these mean is not yet clear. The publication talks about equipping Chinese satellites with laser and microwave weapons, so perhaps real orbital wars will begin soon. There are currently more than 3,800 vehicles in the SpaceX satellite cluster, but the number is planned to increase to 40,000 units in the future. As for its Chinese counterpart, launch dates have yet to be determined. Source
