Xiaomi glasses will receive Qualcomm chips

Although the technical specifications were not provided by Lei Jun, according to rumors in the press, the device will have chips provided by Qualcomm dedicated to experiences in virtual and augmented reality. Along with this, the first images show the presence of two large cameras on the sides and one smaller one in the middle, with sensors responsible for transmitting virtual data and converting them into simulations.

Talking about the numbers themselves, the number of cameras is less than expected on Apple’s headset, which according to initial information, but not official, will have 15.

The big advantage of the Xiaomi device, “found” from photographs published in the press, is the presence of electrochromic lenses, that is, with the ability to change their optical properties. At the same time, the user could easily switch between the real and virtual worlds with a single button.

It is not known when the Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition will be launched, as well as its price, much less when it will arrive in Brazil. For now, it’s safe to say that it will impact the market as Apple’s newest competitor, which will need to be closely monitored to provide top-notch products.
