Twitter has gone through another round of layoffs. Three months after boss Elon Musk announced that the layoffs were over, a tenth of the workforce has lost their jobs.

This time, it’s mainly affecting people who worked on the technical teams, writes the New York Times. That newspaper also reports that about 200 people are involved, including Esther Crawford, who was in charge of the production team that had to adjust the “blue tick” for verified accounts. Most recently, she also led the team that had to prepare Twitter Payments, the platform’s payment service. The team has shrunk from thirty to eight, raising questions about whether the service will still exist.

Elon Musk has faced multiple rounds of layoffs since buying Twitter for $44 billion last year. The biggest of these came in November, when he laid off 3,700 employees to cut costs. After this new round, fewer than 2,000 people would still work for Twitter.
