SpaceX’s flight, which should have taken off from Florida to the International Space Station (ISS) on Monday morning, is still on the ground. A technical error in the ground system thwarted the plan two minutes before the start. There would have been problems with the supply of the fuel needed for the launch.
The four crew members of the Crew 6 mission, two Americans, one Russian and one astronaut from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), have since been removed from the rocket. On Tuesday, Earth and the ISS will be back in position for another launch attempt. But whether the technical problems will be solved by then is not certain. The weather conditions also have to be right.

Once on the International Space Station, the crew will stay there for six months. There are currently seven residents on the ISS, four of whom are scheduled to return to Earth next month.
A replacement transport arrived last Sunday for the other three, a new ship that will allow them to return in September. The spaceship they were supposed to use was destroyed by the impact of space debris. This ship will return to Earth next month with no people on board.
