This is reported by the tech news site The Information based on insiders. Among them would be Igor Babushkin, who previously left an AI-focused part of Google’s parent company Alphabet.
A chatbot works on the basis of artificial intelligence (AI), which can compile texts on command. ChatGPT is owned by OpenAI, which was founded in 2015 by Musk, among others. In 2018 he left the board, but the entrepreneur is known to be impressed by the technology.
Musk and Babushkin have reportedly talked about putting together a team to develop their own chatbot. However, these plans are still in the early stages. According to Babushkin, he would not have officially joined Musk’s initiative either.
