DCspine is a software-defined connection platform that provides fast and secure connection between data centers, cloud providers and other network services. Eurofiber introduced it in 2018 to provide customers with an easy-to-use platform that simplifies network management and reduces the complexity of building and managing connections between data centers and cloud services.

“Since then, 90 data centers in the Netherlands and Belgium have been connected to the platform, making it by far the largest connection platform in the Benelux,” says Jan Michiel Berkel, commercial director of Eurofiber Cloud Infra.

Eurofiber sees a growing need among its customers to make access to business data and applications scalable. That’s why DCspine is expanding with a private cloud.

“Customers working in both public and private clouds can use the same platform, which means they have a scalable software-defined connection to all of their data, wherever it’s stored,” says Berkel.
