Trust Muta is presented as quite an interesting control because it is aimed directly at the market medium low rangewhere position as an economical but completely complete and versatile option. This is important because, in the end, even if we are looking for a cheap product, there are certain minimums that we should not exceed, because if we do, it is very likely that we will end up regretting our purchase.

This control knob is available in two different versions, one wired which is the cheaper of the two and one wireless which is slightly more expensive. Both versions of Trust Muta have a number of features in common, which we will go over below:

  • Made of plastic (with 75% recycled materials).
  • Pressure sensitive triggers.
  • Interchangeable directional cross to better adapt it to our needs and preferences.
  • Vibration customizable.
  • Ergonomic design with rough surface for better grip.
  • Motion sensor for seamless use with Nintendo Switch.

In terms of design, the Trust Muta has classic line and place the analog sticks on the same vertical line. This position is the one used by PlayStation controllers and is clearly different from what we can find on Xbox controllers, where the left analog stick is in a higher position than the right. The layout of the buttons also sticks to the classic scheme, so we won’t have to go through any adaptation period.

The wireless version of the Trust Muta has a integrated battery that offers up to 10 hours of autonomyand comes with a 3 meter charging cable. We can use it in three different ways, with a USB cable as if it were a wired unit, with a USB receiver in the 2.4 GHz band and via Bluetooth.

This model is compatible with Android and iOS based mobile devices as well as PC and Nintendo Switch. Its price is €39.99, a figure that is not bad for what we can find on the market in its price range. The cable model is more economical because it is affordable €29.99and I think it’s the more interesting option of the two for PC gamers looking for an affordable controller without sacrificing a minimum of quality and features.
