Microsoft has officially launched the 365 Cloud PC app for Windows 11 and Windows 10. The app gives you faster access to your cloud PC.
Microsoft rolled out the February update to all Windows 11 and Windows 10 users this week. Among other things, the update brings the AI-powered Bing chat to the Windows 11 taskbar. One novelty that more users may have been looking forward to is the official launch of the revamped Microsoft 365 app.
The application bridges the gap between the desktop version and the cloud version of the Windows operating system. The application gives you faster access to your cloud PC. Of course, you need a Microsoft 365 subscription, which includes Windows Cloud PC. Depending on how much vCPU, RAM and memory you choose, the prices for a business tariff vary between 28.20 and 143.90 euros per month (excl. VAT). With an Enterprise plan, you have unlimited users.
Combination of cloud and desktop
According to Microsoft, Windows 365 combines the performance and security of the cloud with the confidentiality of a desktop. With a cloud PC, you don’t have to install applications locally, instead you stream them from the Microsoft cloud from your device. IT admins can also set up a frictionless single sign-on policy through Microsoft 365.
