That’s on the read help page from Twitter. Twitter Blue is the paid subscription the social media launched in December last year. It’s one of the ways CEO Elon Musk is trying to make the service profitable. The blue verification tick for Blue costs eight dollars or about seven euros per month and, among other things, gives you priority in the algorithm. Paying users can also post longer videos, see fewer ads, and receive 2-Step Verification via SMS (something that was disabled for non-paying users last month).
As of today, the system will be extended to twenty European countries, including Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Users in larger countries like France, UK and Germany have already been able to subscribe. Overall, Twitter Blue is now available in 35 countries.
