The price of the Radeon RX 7900 XT has dropped by $100, placing it at the lower end of the range. $799.99. This translates into a more competitive position against the direct rival GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, although we must remember that this is not a permanent drop, but rather a temporary reduction, a special offer.

Usually, these types of offers are only found in the United States, but I have good news, and this is it In Spain, the Radeon RX 7900 XT has also become cheaperspecifically, the Sapphire Pulse model, which is available for 979.89 euros (previously it cost 1,079.01 euros).

If we compare it to the cheapest GeForce RTX 4070 Ti we can find on the market right now, we see that there is an approximate difference of 20 euros, because the cheapest model is the MSI Ventus, which costs 999 euros. Since both are in the same league, if we talk about prices, which is the better option? Let’s find out.

Radeon RX 7900 XT vs. GeForce RTX 4070 Ti

When it comes to brute force, i.e. in games under rasterization, AMD graphics are up to 10% more powerful than NVIDIA at 4K resolutionand 8% at 1440p. 20 GB of graphics memory is also an advantage, while the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti only has 12 GB.

However, The NVIDIA option works better with ray tracing (up to 9% more in 1440p and 7% more in 4K), supports DLSS 2 and DLSS 3 with frame generation, and has better support and better performance in some of the most popular professional applications on the market, such as Blender, to give a well-known example.

Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages, and this means that each user must assess his goals and priorities when choosing. I am personally clear about everything, overall I rate the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti offers more interesting value for its higher performance in ray tracing and for the difference that DLSS 2 and DLSS 3 make.

I already explained them when I analyzed the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, and I leave you with a link that will take you directly to the mentioned article if you want to dive into this topic and better appreciate the performance it can offer. I’ll give you a simple but impressive example, In Cyberpunk 2077, with 4K resolution and crazy ray tracing, get 71 FPS with DLSS 3 in balanced modewhile the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, which is more powerful than the Radeon RX 7900 XT, falls into 50 FPS with the same settings and FSR 2 in performance mode (worse image quality).
