As reported by Ukrinform, the National Police of Ukraine reported this.
“The annual programming competition was held in Warsaw under the auspices of the North Atlantic Alliance. This year, 32 teams from NATO member states and Ukraine’s government agencies and private sector representatives participated in the hackathon.
Among the issues proposed for resolution, cyber police officers chose “Creation of a concept and tool for studying disinformation” and “Development of a visual navigation concept of a small drone.”
Based on the results of solving the tasks, law enforcement agencies developed two conceptual descriptions of solutions and a working prototype of the software. The achievements of the cyber police team were presented to the jury and were among the top five solutions for the development of the visual navigation concept of a small drone.
During participation in the event, he developed his cyber police knowledge and skills, the experience gained will be useful especially for creating new software solutions to combat disinformation and investigate cybercrime.
As reported, the NATO TIDE Hackathon 2023 is an annual competition organized by NATO Transformation Command to find innovative solutions and solve the Alliance’s interoperability challenges. It is part of a series of activities aimed at improving the interoperability of NATO and Allies through the search for innovative solutions and approaches.
