Present at Mobile World Congress 2023, ZTE and Zubia presented a series of new products at one of the world’s premier mobile exhibitions. Among the new products is the Nubia Pad 3D, a tablet with a 3D screen that does not require the use of glasses.and Nubia Neovision Glass, which are expected to drive the development of the augmented reality (AR) market.

Despite not the most modern specifications, Nubia Pad 3D is the highlight of the releases. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor, Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line in 2021, in addition to 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage options.Expandable with Micro SD cards up to 1TB.

However, the hardware introduced by ZTE and Zubia has a distinctive feature that is present in the name itself. Thanks to the 3D screen, no glasses are needed to enjoy the device.

Technology transforms 2D content into 3D

Nubia Pad 3D panel technology was developed in collaboration with Leia Inc., a display company. The 12.4-inch tablet has a Quad HD+ resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Like the 3D screens on ASUS laptops at CES 2023, the Nubia Pad 3D has an extra layer that separates the image for each eye. Using two 8-megapixel front cameras, the tablet tracks the position of the user’s face to create a three-dimensional effect.

With the ability to convert 2D content to 3D, Nubia Pad 3D software offers a unique user experience. In addition, the tablet has a number of applications developed by Leia Inc. and its partners such as Gameloft, Invictus and PlayChemy, and a dedicated store with over 50 games and 1,200 educational apps that use the device’s distinctive display.

Nubia Pad 3D is powered by a 9070mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The tablet also features four speakers with Dolby Atmos surround sound, USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 port with 5Gbps transfer rate and video, Pogo pins for using accessories. not yet announced, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, included leather-look fabric protective case, and Android 13 from factory.
