The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced that asteroid 535844 (2015 BY310) will pass close to Earth on Tuesday, March 7th.

According to NASA, the length of the celestial body is almost 143 meters.
The distance from it to Earth will be about 4.03 million km. It is recorded that the speed of the space stone is 27,720 km per hour.
The asteroid is large but will pass at a fairly safe distance from our planet.
It’s worth noting that if an asteroid approaches Earth at a distance of less than 7.4 million km and its size is greater than 150 m, NASA considers it a “potentially dangerous object.” In the case of 535844 (2015 BY310), it does not meet both criteria at the same time, so it is not considered “potentially dangerous”.
