The US company Tesla is recalling 3,470 Model Y cars due to the fact that the bolts securing the frames of the second-row backrests were not securely tightened.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by Reuters.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said a loose seat frame bolt can impair the performance of the seat belt system and increase the risk of injury in a collision.
He says Tesla will inspect these bolts and tighten them if necessary to meet the standards.
We are talking about Model Y-type electric car models released between 2022-2023.
As reported by Ukrinform, the American company Tesla is voluntarily recalling 362,758 electric cars, warning that experimental driver assistance software sold as Full Self-Driving Beta (FSD Beta) could cause accidents.
