The Ministry of Digital Transformation is investigating ChatGPT and assessing its potential to improve public administration and enhance digital infrastructure.
Mstislav Banik, head of the development of electronic services at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, spoke about this in an interview with Ukrinform.
“While this tool is only useful on a basic level, it helps to solve routine tasks and contributes to getting this or that job done more efficiently. When it comes to solving complex problems, we understand that digitization is not just a technical but also a creative process. But we are exploring this tool and We are evaluating the possibilities of improving public administration and developing digital infrastructure.”
Banik noted that ChatGPT is artificial intelligence (AI) working on the basis of deep learning technology. This allows it to collect and process large amounts of information. At the same time, the capabilities of artificial intelligence are constantly growing as it learns from new data every day.
As reported, in February 2023, Ukraine was removed from the list of countries where the ChatGPT AI chatbot is blocked. This was facilitated by the Ministry of Digital Transformation’s official letters and calls to the developers of the tool.
