The new TCL screen has a 4K resolution, high refresh rate and is built with high-precision touch technology. According to published reports, TCL has made great efforts to optimize the image quality and color of the panel, which sets it as an example for traditional technologies. With the introduction of the maximum resolution of 4K, the company’s technology is expected to enable media content to display images more clearly and distinctly.

According to GIZMOCHINA, the color gamut coverage is on par with professional movie screens, delivering a full spectrum of colors with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The technology can still support 60/120Hz screen refresh rates in 4K resolution, and is also able to quickly detect dynamic low-frequency switching, which should ensure smooth operation and reduce power consumption.

Another point about this novelty from TCL is that it uses an extremely narrow bezel technology on the screen, which achieves a screen-to-body ratio of up to 96%, which provides a wider field of view. In terms of touch control technology, TCL is replacing traditional plug-in technology with an integrated solution called DOT (Direct on-cell Touch). With this technology, integration between the screen and touch elements is done directly on the panel, resulting in a thinner screen and more interior space, and supports active pens and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
