Outlook for Mac includes support for Outlook.com, Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo accounts, and all IMAP-enabled email service providers. In 2020, Microsoft redesigned the mail client for Mac, adding an optimized user interface for Apple’s latest design changes to macOS.
Outlook for Mac is also optimized for Apple’s M1 and M2 single-chip systems and includes a macOS widget for calendar entries and built-in support for Notification Center. Outlook for Mac also supports migration from iOS so you can pick up right where you left off between your iOS devices and your Mac.
Microsoft will soon add a menu bar display option to quickly view calendar entries in the main Outlook for Mac app. The software manufacturer also plans to support Apple Focus capabilities with new Outlook profiles that will be available soon.
