Viktor Kruglov, the founder and managing director of Kharkiv publishing house “Ranok”, announced this on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.

“The first book written and illustrated by artificial intelligence (AI) in Ukraine was published by Ranok publishing house.” We chose a great topic for the book experiment (recently, artificial intelligence itself was a dream) – the human colonization of Mars. We dreamed of the hero – a boy 5-6 years old. He has a great future ahead of him, but even now the depths of space inspires the hero to look for new places for people to live. So why don’t you go to Mars? – Wrote Kruglov.

According to him, the editors formulated questions to artificial intelligence on behalf of the child. The designers trained the neural network with thematic drawings.

“You can see the result for yourself. The book “I want to go to Mars” by AI is so diverse and interesting that it even surprised the Ranok team. I believe this is a historic moment for our industry and with further research and development in artificial intelligence applications for the education and development of our children We are very interested,” he said.

He added that the next step is an interactive textbook with which the child can communicate.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, antibacterial paper that can be used for printing textbooks and storing food products was produced for the first time at the Zmiyiv paper mill in Kharkiv Oblast on the order of Ranok publishing house.
