The first Nothing smartphone was launched in July last year, with an unrivaled design and good features. The Nothing Phone (1) was mostly well received by consumers and was considered a solid option in the mid-range category. Work is also underway for The Nothing Phone (2), and details are already starting to emerge. In the latest development, it was learned that the phone went into mass production.

Well-known informant Mukul Sharma claims that the Nothing company has started mass production of a new smartphone, possibly Nothing Phone (2). The brand also manufactures a lithium-ion battery with model number NT02. Sharma says certification trials are ongoing for both products.

The Nothing Phone (1) was released in late July 2022, and we can expect its successor to arrive around the same time. The phone (2) is expected to bring a few changes in the hardware section. It is not yet clear whether Nothing will also make changes to the design of the phone. The brand claims to be challenging the status quo in the industry, so we should hope it will deliver on its promises and bring new innovations to the market.

Recently, a senior executive of Qualcomm introduced the processor that will work in the future Phone (2). He said that the phone will be powered by last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It is a high-end Qualcomm SoC based on the 4nm process. The chipset has an octa-core architecture with Prime Core cores based on the ARM Cortex-X2 architecture with a clock frequency of up to 3.2 GHz.

The phone is said to have a 5,000mAh battery and a 120Hz AMOLED display. It may come with 12 GB of RAM, virtual RAM and 256 GB of storage. More details should come soon. Stay connected.
