NVIDIA has started rolling out a a new version of the Game Ready driver which fixes several issues found in the previous version. Specifically, high CPU consumption after exiting the game and random crashes on laptops on some series of graphics cards.
Drivers (or drivers) are the key to the proper functioning of any hardware component. Fixed known bugs; security vulnerabilities; improve compatibility; add new features or improve performance. And for this reason, it is recommended to update to the latest version as soon as it is available.
Not all hardware components need that many upgrades, but graphics chips are one of the most, and NVIDIA, for example, releases new versions basically with the release of every major game that hits the market with various optimizations.
Ready for the game 531.26 HOTFIX
This is a special version that must be installed by every owner of an NVIDIA graphics chip, because it is a solution to the error detected by the green giant that appeared after installing the previous one (531.18) and that increased CPU consumption after game exit and random errors on laptops.
Installing the new version is very simple if you have the app installed GeForce Experience. Just open it and go to Drivers > Check for Updates to download and install the new version.

Another way to do this is to install by hand new version. To do this, go to the NVIDIA website, the drivers section, select the graphics chip that your computer has from the drop-down menu, download it and install it like any Windows executable.

All NVIDIA drivers are said to offer full feature and application compatibility for major games and creative applications, but if you are a user looking for compatibility with the latest games, patches and DLC, you should choose Game Ready drivers. «Studio» for professional editing tasks.
