Slack users will soon be able to use ChatGPT to write replies or summarize conversations. The integration is currently still available to a limited extent.
Yesterday, Salesforce announced Einstein GPT, an AI assistant for the portfolio developed with the help of OpenAI. The subsidiary Slack also benefits from the new cooperation between Salesforce and OpenAI. Like the parent company, the business chat application also gets an integration of the popular ChatGPT tool.
One click again
The ChatGPT app in Slack will take on multiple roles. This way you can summarize an entire conversation in no time. You click on the three dots next to a message and tick summarize thread At. This feature can be useful if, for example, you have just returned from vacation and want to be back immediately. You can see how this works in the Slack demo below.
No inspiration to type an answer? ChatGPT will also be able to do this in Slack. under summarize thread will you draft answer see standing. With the integration of ChatGPT with Salesforce and Slack, the adoption of AI in our professional lives is shifting into even higher gears. Microsoft isn’t standing still either. The software giant has already announced AI integrations within Office 365, Windows 11 and now Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. Google is working hard on the alternative called Bard, but this tool is still being kept on a leash for the time being.
