The electric truck itself is an all-electric version of Isuzu Motors’ Elf small truck. The company offers three variants of battery capacity.
Isuzu said that the electric vehicle can travel approximately 170 kilometers on a single charge.
It was noted that the Japanese government has set a target of 20-30% of all electric vehicles of the total sales volume of new small trucks and other commercial vehicles by 2030. This includes “hybrid” options.
This year, another Japanese company, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus, announced that it plans to update the model of its small electric truck.
As reported by Ukrinform, Japanese company Hino introduced an electric truck with a carrying capacity of 1 tonne.
