According to the American publication, the most striking feature of the B-21, according to the photos released now, can be considered the air intakes deeply recessed into the fuselage of the aircraft.
“It was difficult to see what kind of structure is visible inside the engines in previous photos, but now we understand that these are actually removable air intake flaps”– Writes The Drive.
The publication assures that such a design guarantees “very low visibility” of the aircraft. According to the publication, a similar device is derived from diverterless air intake designs used in the past.
