During the 5 months of use of ICEYE, employees of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out a space radar reconnaissance of about a thousand places of units of the aggressor state in other temporarily captured and other areas of interest to the Armed Forces. Forces.
During this time, the resource of the spacecraft made it possible to detect 360 tents, as well as 7,321 objects of enemy military and special equipment, in particular: 45 aircraft, 27 helicopters, 6 OTRK “Alexander”, 36 in the places of the Russian army. air defense systems “S300”, 12 air defense systems “Pantsir S1”, 11 radar stations, 10 pontoon crossings.
“Thanks to the capabilities of ICEYE, a large part of this list was destroyed and reflected in the daily reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” – emphasized HUR.
Ukrainian military intelligence workers once again expressed their gratitude to the entire Ukrainian community who participated in the fundraising for the spacecraft, to the defenders of Ukraine and to every volunteer who provided daily assistance to the Serhiy Prytula Relief Fund.
“Such eyes in orbit make it possible to detect and incinerate camouflaged Russian military equipment, weapons and personnel 24 hours a day and in all weather conditions,” said the GUR.
