According to the description SpaceXone of the companies that made the trip and also streamed the comeback via YouTube, Axiom Mission 1, ax-1came out ISS this Sunday (24), around 21:10 ET (22:10 Brazil time). Approximately 16 hours later on the return journey, the team landed off the coast of Florida at approximately 13:06 (14:06 Brazil time), after a series of maneuvers necessary to descend from orbit and return to Earth.
According to NASA, 15 days in orbit served the crew for scientific experiments and technological demonstrations. The US agency also reported that, in addition to the four crew members, the spacecraft SpaceX Dragon also brought “200 pounds of science and supplies, including NASA experiments and equipment”.
In accordance with NASA, the team’s experiments covered a variety of areas, including cancer cell growth and research using self-contained tiles for future building in space. The agency called the mission a success, and negotiations are already underway for a second private astronaut mission with Axiom Cosmos. It is expected that the third mission of this model will be carried out at the end of this year.

Crew ax-1 we: Michael Lopez-Alegria (commander), Larry Connor (pilot), Eitan Stibbe and Mark Paty (experts). The group carried out the first fully private mission to the ISS, as well as the first time that the crew and spacecraft traveled to the space station through commercial organizations. To accomplish the feat, each participant had to complete 700 to 1,000 hours of specialized training, according to Axiom Space.
