We have already discussed on more than one occasion that after promising beginnings in the said market, we quickly saw the high-end segment begin to decline, to the point that for several years there was practically no alternative on the Android side, to the advantages (and of course also on prices) of those from Cupertino. Fortunately, this situation is changing and it is now possible to find high-end tablets equipped with Android, which makes the offer more diverse, which benefits consumers.

So we can understand it the launch of the iPad Pro was Apple’s response precisely this movement by a handful of manufacturers who decided to raise the bar in the Android ecosystem was compounded by the fact that the company had already for some time adopted a position prone to what is called post-PC, where the computer actually still exists, but where the sheer number of device types has deprived it of most of the features that were exclusive to it more than a decade ago.

So with regard to Apple, we are currently at the point where their tablets compete with their laptops in terms of technical specifications (and again, price). We saw this, for example, with the announcement of the iPad Pro 2022 last October, a generation in which the top model, i.e. the most equipped 12.9-inch version with an Apple M2 SoC, a Mini-LED screen, 16 GB of memory and two terabytes of storage, rose to 3,024 euros. If these prices seemed high to you, then you better not plan to buy any of the future models for 2024. Why?
