“Apple Music Classical makes it fast and easy to find any track in the largest classical music catalogue, with a fully optimized search. “Audiences can enjoy the highest sound quality available and experience many classical musical favorites in a whole new way thanks to surround sound.”
As noted, Apple acquired music service Primephonic in 2021 and plans to release its own classical music app by the end of last year.
It will be available as a standalone app on the App Store. Access to the app is included with a standard Apple Music subscription.
The music in the catalog will be available with spatial audio function with bitrate of 192 kbps. The app will have hundreds of playlists and thousands of exclusive albums and biographies of composers.
Initially, the program will be released on iOS, but in the future it will also appear on Android.
