The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft carrying NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Koichi Wakata and Roscosmos astronaut Anna Kikina docked at 2:20 a.m. EST from the front port of the International Space Station’s Harmony module. to complete a scientific task of almost six months.
NASA will broadcast Crew-5’s return with audio only, with full coverage at the start of the landing broadcast. Real-time audio will continue to be available in NASA’s mission audio stream between Crew-5 and flight controllers, and will include conversations with astronauts on the space station and live video from the orbiting lab.
NASA will continue to telecast at 8:00 p.m. Saturday until Endurance lands at approximately 9:02 p.m. EST and the crew of Crew-5 is located off the coast of Florida, near Tampa. NASA’s SpaceX Crew-5 mission launched on a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on October 5, 2022, and docked with the space station the next day.
