Today, Monday (13), users Uber in Curitiba will have access to a new service option, Uber Resolve. This new product allows users to ask partner drivers to perform additional delivery-related tasks, such as picking up packages from stores or collecting signatures, for a specified period of time.

Uber is launching a new service called Uber Resolve, which is different from the famous Uber Flash. Uber Resolve does not require the sender and recipient to be in a predetermined location, giving users more flexibility when sending or receiving goods. It’s worth noting that in some cases, the partner driver will need to leave the vehicle in order to complete assigned tasks, which Uber claims will result in more earnings for the professional.

In the new modality, it will be allowed to request the shipment or return of items by car or motorcycle for a period of one to four hours.

How it works

1. After opening the Uber app, click on the “Delivery” tab.
2. Select “Shipping by Period”.
3. Specify the required time, pickup address and destination. You can also edit and add stops during your trip.

Once the ride is confirmed, the user must use the app’s chat to communicate the details of the requested action to the partner driver. In addition, Uber also encourages the user to complete the entire request via mobile phone in order to be able to assist a partner driver if they have questions during the ride.

1. Applications are limited in time and mileage. If the trip exceeds the agreed amount, the user will be charged for the excess.
2. If the trip lasts less than the amount specified in the contract, the user will be charged the full amount specified in the contract.
3. In this mode, requests to perform tasks related to payments and/or cash transactions, such as visiting a bank, paying bills, or collecting payments, are not allowed.
