The first TV running Amazon FireOS appeared in the Redmi brand – presented in India. The model, which is quite simple in its characteristics, turned out to be inexpensive: the device can be purchased for $ 145. The retail price of the model is slightly more – $170. Redmi introduced a “fire” TV for $145. This is the brand’s first model to run Amazon Fire OS 7.
The device is equipped with a screen with a diagonal of 32 inches, a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and a frame rate of 60 Hz. There is a built-in speaker system with two speakers with a total power of 20 W, supporting Dolby Audio, DTS-HD and DTS Virtual: X technologies.
The hardware platform uses an Arm Cortex-A35 quad-core SoC and an Arm Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The amount of RAM is 1 GB, flash memory is 8 GB. The software platform is Amazon Fire OS 7 with its proprietary voice assistant Alexa. The configuration also includes a dual-band Wi-Fi adapter, Bluetooth 5.0, a pair of HDMI ports and a pair of USB ports.
