Tibco is introducing new features to its analytics apps that will help customers get faster insights from their data.
The first product for which Tibco announces new features is Data Science Team Studio. Analytics teams can use this application to find actionable patterns in business information and build machine learning models. It also includes collaboration features that help teams coordinate their work.
Data Science Team Studio now integrates with another Tibco product called Tibco Data Virtualization. The latter tool enables users to access data from various sources, such as cloud environments, via a central interface. This makes it easier to retrieve data that a company needs for an analysis project. Team Studio also gets a performance optimization that allows users to analyze information faster.
New features in Tibco Streaming and Spotfire
The second product that Tibco has announced an update for is Tibco Streaming. It is a set of tools that companies can use to create applications that process new data as soon as it is generated. Tibco Streaming is enhanced with a machine learning capability called Dynamic Learning. The feature is designed to make it easier to build artificial intelligence models that process real-time data.
With Dynamic Learning, a company can create an AI model that analyzes log data within seconds of receipt and quickly determines if there is a risk of downtime. This allows technical problems to be identified more quickly. Dynamic learning can also be used in other situations, such as processing real-time data from connected devices.
Last in this series of updates, Tibco is updating its Spotfire data visualization platform. The platform gets new controls that make it easier for administrators to manage user accounts and detect unauthorized data usage. In addition, Tibco allows Spotfire to run on systems powered by Ubuntu, a Linux distribution popular with developers.
