A new version of the Midjourney neural network called Midjourney V5 has been released

Starting today, our community can test Midjourney V5. This version has much higher image quality, a wider variety of output data, a wider range of styles, seamless texture support, a wider aspect ratio, a wider dynamic range, and much more. mid trip

The new version will show two images in the previous stage and ask you to choose which style you prefer more.

Among the obvious standout changes are the promise of improved faces and eyes with lots of fine detail, and (finally!) more detailed fingers and limbs. It will be recalled that previous versions often formed six fingers and their shape was often odd. Images will often be more detailed and render time shorter.

Midjourney V5 will produce images with a resolution of up to 1024×1024 pixels (previous version had a resolution of 512×512 pixels). The final version of the neural network should produce 2048×2048 images – we don’t know yet when that will happen.
