Turkish technology brand Togg announced the price and model name of its first electric smart car and opened pre-orders.
Referring to the website of the company Togg, Ukrinform reported that the pre-sale of the cars began on Thursday.
The standard model with a range of 314 km on a single charge starts at TL 953,000 (US$ 50,000), while the model with a range of 523 km starts at TL 1,215 million (US$ 64,000).
It is stated that delivery to users will start from June this year.
The developers state that the Togg electric car is a high-tech device designed to make the owner’s life much easier.
Pre-order valid from March 16 to March 27. The first owners will be determined by lottery.
As reported by Ukrinform, at the end of October last year, a factory for the production of electric cars was ceremonially inaugurated in Hemlik, a province of Bursa in northwest Turkey.
