We already have the official requests for System Shock Remake for PC, a highly anticipated game that has been in development for a long time and suffered several delays due to how complicated it was. Prime Matter and Nightdive, responsible for the game, confirmed that it will not launch until May 30which means another delay, but it looks like it will finally be the final arrival date.
The System Shock remake is a huge graphical improvement over the original, and it also comes with major gameplay changes that bring the game closer to today’s standards. The same will happen with the sound section and the interface. As expected, all these graphical improvements made this game on par with what we can expect from the current title, but thankfully It won’t be too difficult at the hardware level.
After reviewing System Shock Remake’s requirements, I can confirm that the game on a PC from ten years ago it will work without problems, and that any gaming PC configured from 2016 onwards will meet the recommended requirements. This means that it will work perfectly optimally in a more up-to-date equipment.
The game should run fine with this configuration 1080p and low quality while maintaining an acceptable frame rate per second.
This hardware should allow good experience in 1080p with high or maximum quality, although I don’t know if that will be enough to guarantee a fully stable 60 FPS. This will also depend on the optimization of the game.
System Shock Remake is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series S, so it will be intergenerational transition game.
