IdeaPad Duet 5 will be updated in a big way

Lenovo has several “2 in 1” models in this “Duet” series that add quality and performance at a reasonable price because they are meant for mass consumption. The model in question has already been listed on the official web portal, though it hasn’t been announced yet. And it arrives very well updated.

The new IdeaPad Duet 5 is equipped with a multi-touch LTPS LCD display 12.4 inches and a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It has a brightness of up to 500 nits, a DCI-P3 color gamut of 95% and Dolby Vision support. It includes an active Lenovo Digital Pen 3 stylus with support for 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. Another accessory that makes it a 2-in-1 is the Folio case with a built-in keyboard that can be connected via the tablet’s pogo pins or via Bluetooth.

Its internal hardware has been upgraded to the latest Intel processors Core Gen13 “Raptor Lake” for notebooks with models to choose from Core i3-1315U to Core i7-1355U. It can fit 8 or 16 Gbytes of RAM (non-removable) and a 512 Gbyte PCIe 4.0 SSD, which is user-replaceable.

The tablet retains its premium chassis made by an alloy of aluminum and magnesium and will be offered in two color options “stone blue” or “storm gray”. Its weight is 839 kg, which with the keyboard is 1.19 kg. It features two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports with power and video output support, plus a 3.5mm audio jack.

There is support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, and a dual camera, front 5 MP with IR for facial recognition and security tasks and rear also 5 MP. It has two 2W stereo speakers, a 50Wh battery and a 65W USB Type-C adapter. The IdeaPad Duet 5 comes preinstalled with Windows 11, and we don’t know its price and availability. It looks very nice.
