The Chinese company Huawei has officially introduced to the world its latest fitness bracelet Band 7, which looks significantly different from its predecessor and is the lightest device in the manufacturer’s arsenal. With a body thickness of 9.99 mm, the tracker weighs only 16 grams, giving a potential buyer a wide range of options in terms of physical activity and vital signs monitoring. However, it is worth clarifying right away that this bracelet does not provide incredible functions that competitors do not have.

For example, Band 7 can monitor changes in heart rate as well as oxygen saturation level. There is also Huawei’s proprietary technology called TruSleep 2.0, which can analyze user activity during sleep and provide detailed information about its quality. In addition, 96 sports modes (steps and calories are also counted) are added for monitoring user stress levels and for sports fans. The main feature of the company’s new fitness bracelet is a rectangular AMOLED display with a diagonal of 1.47 inches. It’s gotten a little bigger compared to the Band 6, but in reality it’s only noticeable when directly comparing the two devices. And the novelty is sold in four colors, has NFC, 14-day battery life and a relatively low price – the basic version of the device (without NFC) retails for $ 40. Those who want to pay with their gadget instead of a card will have to pay $ 47 for the NFC version.
