Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the new TV in China on March 22. The product, whose official name is the Xiaomi TV S series, shared a few teasers on Weibo. They reveal some features of this TV. Xiaomi has not disclosed the timing of the announcement of its new TV in China. This means that there will be no live broadcasts and the product will only be promoted via social media posts in the early morning hours of the specified date.

So far, the firm has released two teasers on Weibo. One of them reveals that the TV will support refresh rate up to 144 Hz. Another reveals that the MediaTek MT9653 chipset will power the TV.

This chip is not listed on MediaTek’s website, suggesting it might be new. According to the trailer, the SoC will include a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 CPU. Additionally, the chipset will support 3200 Mbit/s RAM. Judging by the image, the TV may have a metal frame and look similar to the design of the company’s previous TVs.
