A thank you letter signed by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs is up for sale. This is rare, because Steve Jobs hardly ever signed.
Steve Jobs signed a letter addressed to Suzanne Lindbergh, Apple’s chief marketing officer. The letter reads: “This ten-year plaque honors those who have contributed to Apple’s extraordinary success. Apple rewards you not only for your talent, enthusiasm and energy, but also for your ten years of creativity and career. We hope you continue to believe as we do that the journey itself is the best reward.”
A thank you letter from Steve Jobs went on sale for $95,000.
A few years ago, a letter to a fan in which Steve announced that he did not autograph, and then left his signature at the bottom of the page, sold at auction for approximately $500,000.
