Users can enter a description of what they want to see and a video of about three seconds is created depicting the request.

In addition, users will be able to upload images to the system as references and hints.

The product will not be available to everyone: Runway has announced that its Gen 2 AI system will be available through a waitlist. People can sign up to access a private Discord channel. The company plans to add new users to the channel every week.

The limited study represents the best-known example of this type of text production in video outside of the lab.

Last week, Gen 2 was put to the test during a special demo: the system fulfilled the request to create a “desert landscape drone shot” video.

Currently, videos produced by the Gen 2 system have no sound, but the company is conducting research on sound reproduction.

As reported by Ukrinform, the underlying technology of the ChatGPT artificial intelligence system will be added to the Microsoft 365 operating software.
