Online service offers AI-generated ad templates

Have you ever thought of a modeling agency that doesn’t employ real people? A Deep Agencydeveloped by a Danish programmer Danny Postman, promises to offer this service. The system, launched in early March, creates virtual personifications using artificial intelligence for advertising campaigns.

The tool uses algorithms that create human figures based on the description provided, following the style of DALL-E and Midjourney. The user can request, for example, “a woman in a blue blouse”, and the program will generate exactly this image. And this immediately shows some of the benefits of the service, such as creating campaigns with variety and less limited to the real models available.

Realistic picture allows you to customize absolutely everything

The result of the process carried out by Deep Agency is a realistic image that can be edited by inserting scenery, props and other items. You can choose the time of day, the lighting method, and even determine the characteristics of the equipment, such as the opening of the lens and the type of camera used when shooting. Another possibility is for the user to take a selfie and add clothing or accessories, sort of like a “virtual fitting room”.

Affordability is a strong point of the tool, especially for smaller brands and self-employed professionals, as it will eliminate the cost of hiring professionals and models, as well as the cost of the necessary tools. However, the virtual agency has also been criticized for, for example, misusing images of real people for AI training and possible “stealing” of jobs.

And if Deep Agency competitors show up, plagiarism could end up becoming commonplace among them, as the United States Copyright Office (USCO) recently decided that AI-generated images cannot be copyrighted. However, it is not known how this decision will really affect this still completely new market.
