Orange’s mobile network is currently experiencing some disruptions. They are more local and Orange is aware of them.
Orange customers in the Antwerp region may have limited mobile connectivity. In this case, both telephony and mobile Internet may not be available. The problems have been appearing since this morning and are large enough to be picked up by a service like allergy rings, but by no means affect everyone.
Orange confirms to our editors that there are problems. “We have some small and very local problems in our network in the Antwerp region,” it sounds. The impact would be limited and fragmented. At Orange, technicians are working to solve the problems. In our editorial office in Geel, we see that our test devices cannot connect to the Orange mobile network. Online, we are indeed seeing a peak in complaints in Antwerp and the surrounding cities, but also in Hasselt and Brussels.
intervention in the network
Orange had previously announced that the work would be carried out on March 20th. In the meantime, the provider has also sent a message about an intervention in the network that took place today. So the infrastructure is clearly being worked on, with noticeable flaws here and there.
You have no mobile phone reception and are an Orange customer? Then you are not alone. In principle, everything will be solved soon.
