Scientists of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” presented an innovative device for the early diagnosis of diseases of the cardiovascular system at Science & Business – GIST Pitch Days and received a grant for the development of an initiative.

“The KhPI project offers an innovative device that provides doctors with an easy and affordable way to diagnose diseases of the cardiovascular system and provides accurate medical information. In particular, it is a technology for measuring blood flow and blood pressure, which allows you to monitor your health and calculate indicators for early diagnosis of the disease. The device it is affordable and compact, performs a quick examination. The results obtained are sufficient for blood pressure, vascular condition, heart health, early diagnosis of defects and blood clots. The device can be used both in medical institutions and at home,” reads the message.

It is stated that the basis of the project is non-contact diagnostic methods. According to the results of the shots, Kharkiv scientists received a grant of $ 5,000 for further development.

“With the financial support we receive from GIST, we will continue to develop our innovative diagnostic device,” the authors of the initiative said.
