There are 2.1 million users paying for premium subscription. But the company did not lose anything.
Spotify’s report for Q1 2022 says it has managed to increase its premium user base by 15% despite leaving the Russian market. Now there are 182 million.
Previously, the company planned to reach 183 million premium subscribers for the quarter, but was unable to reach this segment due to its withdrawal from the Russian market. However, Spotify added that the results still exceed expectations.

– indicated in the company.
In total, 422 million people use Spotify every month, 19% more than a year ago. The number of listeners using the free version of the service with advertisements is 252 million.
I wonder how many Ukrainians will subscribe to Spotify if they return the legendary song of the Pyriatyn group, which has been widely complained about by the Russians, at the request of the famous international terrorist Zakhar Prilepin.
