The image also shows a series of small stars around Z 229-15.
A Seyfert galaxy is a type of spiral or irregular galaxy with a star-like active core whose emission spectrum contains a large number of allowed and prohibited emission lines.
Such galaxies were first described in 1943 by the American astronomer Carl Keenan Seyfert. About 1% of the observed spiral galaxies belong to them and are the most populous group of galaxies with active cores.
As reported by Ukrinform, Hubble previously photographed the dwarf galaxy UGCA 307 in the Raven constellation.
